A great interest in graphic design and an ambition to work in an environment where I can make a difference working with today’s modern technology, has led me to pursue a career in graphic design.

As an enthusiastic and imaginative person a career in this field seems a natural choice, evolving from my current studies in AS Graphics, AS Computing and BTEC I.T National Diploma. My knowledge of the requirements to be a graphic designer has grown considerably since taking these courses. I particularly enjoy graphics as this focuses on the concept of portraying media and images involving design as a way of marketing and a way of attracting people towards particular products. Furthermore AS graphics has helped me to realise the importance of meeting deadlines and has increased my creativity and my understanding of the subject.

This is a digital image, photographed and developed by a friend who specialises in proffesional photography, i have permission to use this image to manipulate and edit. I am going to design a calendar to add to the advertisement collection part of my work.

This is a calendar design i created using the above photographed image, i added effects and enhanced the photo using adobe illustrator and photoshop. I also put my logo in the corner to mark my work, this is part of the advertisement collection of my portfolio.

This is a photgraphed image i took in my hometown (bolton), of a an office building, i took this using a digital camera with a high resolution so then i can edit and manipulate it using adobe photoshop. I will use this to create my next piece of artwork which is going to be an urban style poster.

This is a piece of of typograpry i designed, here i am producing an urban effect the building was photgraphed was taken with a digital camera, this i will include in my complete portfolio.
